Ginger Walker of Give Back Team at Coldwell Banker Elite, Sandra Grimes of America’s Choice Mortgage, alongside our community sponsors, are proud to launch Operation Thanksgiving. This initiative was created to express our gratitude to the Federal Employees, TSA Agents, Military Personnel, Teachers, and First Responders who worked with dedication throughout the 2025 government shutdown. We see your hard work, we recognize the sacrifices you made, and we are grateful for your service to our community and our country. To thank you, we want to pay it forward and provide you with a Thanksgiving meal.

How Operation Thanksgiving Works

If you are a Federal Employee, TSA Agent, Military family, Teacher, or First Responder, please sign up using the link above or below. Our goal is to feed at least 750 people in our community. This is not need-based, this is a THANK YOU for all you do. Sign up ends at 2 PM, Wednesday, Nov. 19.

This initiative provides Thanksgiving meal kits. Each kit will include:

  • A turkey

  • Sides to feed a family of four

  • A pie

Our community’s strength is built by its people, especially the military personnel, federal employees, TSA agents, first responders, and teachers who serve with dedication. The government shutdown created challenges for many, however they continued to show up, despite personal financial strain.
